FACE OF EUROPEAN PALILULA

Aesthetic and inter – space arrangement of space in City Municipality of Palilula, is part of everyday activities of management of this organization of local self government of City of Nis. The meet holding the traditional manifestation “Palilula Night 2011” will be promoted several projects which will contribute achieving the set goal. At the Palilula Ramp, was removed the metal fence and this “ pedestrian island” decorated with jardinière with flowers. This part of settlement visited President  of Municipality professor Dr Igor Novakovic with head of Municipal administration associate Slavoljub Savic. In the meeting with journalists, on the “pedestrian island” across the Palilula Ramp, President Novakovic announced arrangement of traffic light poles at intersections around Palilula Ramp as and setting ultrasonic sensors, display and IVR systems for blind and visually impaired persons. This part of the activities will be promoted May 9th and it is realized by students of Faculty of Electronic within project “Intersection Palilula Ramp” and program “Partnership for Education and Development of Society” under patronage of Tobacco Factory A. D. Nis within the company “Philip Morris”.

City Municipality of Palilula is participant of the project of National campaign “Green Cities of Serbia”, initiated by People`s Office of the President of the Republic of Serbia as and worlds ecological campaigns “Billion Trees for Planet Earth” – “Green Tracks of Europe” – “ Stop to Climate Changes”, “Clean up the Serbia – Clean up the World” realized in cooperation with organization of civil society and media EKOpolis Network. Goal of activity is increase of green and park surfaces in City Municipality of Palilula – City of Nis.
